Hattie Webb House
Hattie Webb House is currently our only supported housing scheme in Medway, based near Rochester town centre in a quiet accessible cul-de-sac. This site is ideal for people with a physical disability and offers the opportunity for greater freedom and control over the support being received as support is co-ordinated around individual needs. The ground floor is 100% accessible but there is also a living space upstairs for someone who likes their own space and privacy. A day training programme is available at this site.
Hattie Webb House is:
- Ideal for people who already possess good daily living skills
- Ideal for sociable people who like the independence of managing their own time but needs support in key areas of daily living
- Staffed Monday to Sunday during the day, currently there is no evening and weekend support in place
- There is a more relaxed approach to personal development as it is building on existing skills
- This site is quiet compared to the other sites
- Referrals usually come via Social Services but we can assist you with getting the right support and assessment
- This site is very independent, so capacity and confidence to have time alone is essential
- Target age range is up to 55 years old
- Placements can last up to five years or longer
- This site can accommodate four people; three people with a physical and/or learning disability on the ground floor and one other place upstairs which is not wheelchair accessible
